This year Solomoon will be hosting 2 workshops at BOOM. Below is a brief summary of what can be expected from the workshops:
"Awakening to Bliss: From Witness to Limitless" Shift your reality from perpetual suffering to unlimited bliss by understanding the illusions of the mind in order to release resistance to what is and step into a peaceful allowance of what can be. Changing your perception about the world around you begins with shifting your ideas about yourself and yourself in relation to the world around you. This process starts by developing a clear and present mind through the continued practice of conscious choice and action. This program will discuss the deceptive nature of the mind and include a guided meditation sharing simple techniques to elevate self-awareness. By witnessing the disserving thought patterns that rest at the root of our conditioning we can transform the way we live through the choices we make, in turn strengthening our ability to create transformation in the world around us. Through the process of developing greater awareness, we can begin to understand how much control we have over a life potentially filled with unlimited bliss.

"Psychic Sleep and the Mind’s Potential" Learn to use the power of deep, conscious relaxation as a meditative technique for effectively imprinting new patterns on the mind and body, harmonizing the deeper unconscious states of the mind, and awakening your inner potential. Through the practice of Yoga Nidra, we can induce a state of complete physical, mental, and emotional relaxation. This takes the mind into a hypnogogic state, the threshold state between sleep and wakefulness, where contact with the subconscious and unconscious dimensions occur spontaneously. This occurs by turning away from outer experiences, then shifting the consciousness to function at a deeper level of inner awareness. Through this practice of pratyahara—withdrawal of sense organs—the consciousness becomes very powerful and can be applied in many ways making impressions on the mind and body much greater and more powerful. This program will illustrate techniques for achieving this state both through a guided meditation and the use of ambient music.

7/7/7 After Chakra - Infinity Festival
The legendary Chakra gatherings that took place each summer solstice for 7 years from 1997 through 2003 were renowned as some of the greatest outdoor events Colorado has ever seen. The previous and final Chakra party, Crown Chakra, occurred in the summer of 2003, completing the 7 chakra cycle at a different location nestled in a gorgeous, pristine valley near the 11 Mile Reservoir west of Colorado Springs. Now it is time once again to return to the beautiful Rocky Mountains, in celebration of the ever-expanding potential of the human energy body and the unification for collective purpose and rediscovery. This event will be reminiscent of the past Chakra events, far from the city in a secluded outdoor location and will feature a range of workshops during the day from meditation, sacred geometry, drumming, contact dance/capoeira, spiritual practice, etc. and will culminate with a musical celebration all weekend with multiple stages and some of the finest intelligent electronic music talent this state has to offer. 777 will be the apex of a Numeralogical Sequence that began over 2000 years ago... this will be a special gathering of ART / SPIRIT / DANCE / MIND - A channel for our collective morphogenetic development manifested through workshops, childrens activities, dance performances, and musical expression.
The duration of this event will be from July 4th-8th, 2007 nestled again in a peaceful, secluded valley. Bring your memories of the previous Chakra gatherings and the amazing connections made and prepare to make new ones as we again gather the tribes in a most memorable celebration of the human experience. This is a private, invitation only event calling all those aligned with principles of community and collective expression. In order to attend, each individual will be REQUIRED to have an invite AND pre-register. (One invite will be appropriate for the registering of two people). Paper invites are available with registration numbers attached. Once receiving an invite and registration number, you will be required to register yourself (and 1 friend if sharing a reg. number) online using the number provided to you. The cost will be a requested donation of $40/person to cover expenses and the acquisition/preservation of the land and permitting. Volunteers are needed to help coordinate this experience, though each person will be required to contribute their full entrance fee. Some volunteers needed include fire keepers/leaders for the sweat lodges, door keepers at the gate, MOOP patrol, parking, kitchen help, etc. Also anyone who is attending and is a Certified CPR and 1st Aid Technician, we ask for your help by submitting a copy of your Personell Cards to the following address.

Gemini Festival - Northern California, June 15th-17th
The time has come once again for the 10th anniversary of the legenday and much anticipated northern California underground outdoor music festival lovingly known as GEMINI. This amazing gathering is dedicated to unifying the bay area, USA, and international global music family. Artists from all over the world and many nations have committed to creating an intentional community located in the private town called Belden, 3.5hrs NE of San Francisco. That's right, we are taking over a whole resort, complete with restraunt, bathrooms, showers and dance floor porta-potties. As before this is a free gathering and there is no flyer for this event. This event is advertised by word of mouth, personal lists, and certain trance

Baku: Eater of Dreams, Denver Colorado - Saturday April 21st
An event inspired by the unexplored depths of Japanese mythology and tradition. The dream will begin @ 9pm with a traditional tea ceremony conducted by the beautiful geishas and accompanied by lunar grooves from dj DMTree. It will continue with a Dream tale of Baku, a magical vision realized through traditional Japanese dance theater and accompanied by Taiko drumming.
At midnight DJ Solomoon will take things up a notch with some jazzy trip-hop. In accordance with the evening’s events follows a martial arts presentation courtesy of Charles Benham and guests. Buddhabomb will round off the night with exotic oriental beats.

A dream come true. Solomoon will be spinning at the Nine Bar club on Friday March 9th, 5pm-10pm. The Nine Bar is an outdoor venue perched on a bluff overlooking the Arabian Sea, located in Vagator, just north of Anjuna. The venue has a hard-packed dirt dancefloor outlined with palm trees offering perfect sunset views over the sea, and features djs from around the globe every evening from 5-10pm.

Burning Knot 2006, Labor Day Weekend, Sept 1-2
The third annual Burning Knot 2006 will be held in Crestone this year.
Burning Knot is an unofficial alternative to Burning Man (tm) (some of us can't afford to go every year) where we burn an actual knot. Last year we burned a basketball sized monkey fist complete with fireworks, gunpowder, and... other random, non-toxic burnables. This year we can't get quite so crazy with the fire-hazards, and we're not really even sure about the bacon, but it'll be a hoot & hollar. Featuring the ever evolving AmoebaFunk, Psylens, Noah, BuddhaBomb, live bands and fire dancing. Saturday Crestone will be hosting an alternative energy fair as well.
BOOM Festival, Portugal - August 3-9

This year Solomoon will be hosting a yoga workshop at BOOM following his 3 month sabbatical/training in India. Below is a brief summary of what can be expected in the workshop:
"Choosing Bliss - Yoga and Awareness" A look at the ever-present opportunity for consciously choosing a life of happiness. We will focus on the importance of a clear and present mind and address our tendency for habitually choosing complications and discomfort unallowing us to maintain a balanced mind and body. Emphasis will be on the importance of applying these conscious states throughout our daily life by using practical techniques based on the 8-limb Ashtanga Yoga tradition including: meditation, diet, cleansing, and asanas (including a "moon salutation" in celebration of the full moon that week). Through the continued practice of conscious choice and action, we can begin to understand how much control we have over a life potentially filled with unlimited bliss.
